You may delete your Walking L™ account at any time through the Walking L™ app under Account & Settings or by contacting us for assistance.
Before Deleting Your Account
Before deleting your account, please transfer ownership of any shared shopping lists if applicable.
Deleting your account may result in the permanent loss of access to lists you created, manage, or participate in.
What Happens to Your Information
When your account is deleted, personal information associated with your account will be deleted or de-identified as applicable, subject to information that Walking L™ or Jay Lowe Consulting LLC is required or permitted to retain.
Walking L™ may retain historical, aggregated, or de-identified information for analytical, operational, security, research, service-improvement, and legitimate business purposes, provided that such information is no longer reasonably associated with you as an identifiable user.
Certain information may also be retained where reasonably necessary and permitted by applicable law for purposes including:
- Security and fraud prevention.
- Investigation of unauthorized access, abuse, or security incidents.
- Investigation or documentation of payment or subscription circumvention.
- Compliance with legal or regulatory obligations.
- Transaction and financial recordkeeping obligations.
- Resolution of disputes.
- Enforcement of agreements.
- Establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims.
- Protection of Walking L™, Jay Lowe Consulting LLC, our users, or others.
Information retained for these purposes will not be retained longer than reasonably necessary for the applicable purpose unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.
Account deletion does not necessarily delete information belonging to another user or information that has been independently provided, retained, or controlled by another authorized participant in a shared list.
